2026 PGA 투어 및 콘페리 투어 개편의 모든 것

2부 리그인 콘페리 투어에서 1부 리그로 승격하는 문 또한 좁아졌습니다. 기존에는 시즌 종료 후 콘페리 투어 포인트 상위 30명에게 PGA 투어 카드가 주어졌지만, 2026년부터는 단 20명에게만 카드가 부여됩니다. 예를 들어 콘페리 투어에서 한 시즌 동안 꾸준히 활약하여 최종 25위를 기록한 선수가 있다면, 2025년까지는 1부 리그로 직행했겠지만 2026년 규정에서는 투어 카드를 얻지 못하고 2부 리그에 남아야 합니다.

 

이 외에도 퀄리파잉 스쿨을 통한 1부 리그 직행 티켓이 공동 5위까지에서 단독 5위까지로 제한되며, 월요 예선 출전권 역시 120명 출전 대회에서는 전면 폐지되고 132명 출전 대회에서는 단 2장으로 줄어듭니다.

 

결과적으로 이번 개편은 1부와 2부 리그를 막론하고 프로 골퍼들에게 더욱 치열한 생존 경쟁을 예고하고 있습니다. 진정한 엘리트만이 무대에 설 수 있도록 문턱을 높인 이번 변화가 투어의 질적 향상으로 이어질 전망입니다.

For example, if a player performs consistently on the Korn Ferry Tour and finishes 25th, they would have advanced to the 1st tier until 2025. Under the 2026 rules, they will not receive a tour card and must remain in the 2nd tier.

In addition, the direct tickets to the 1st tier through Qualifying School will be strictly limited to the top 5 players, rather than the top 5 and ties. Open Qualifying spots will be completely eliminated for events with 120 players and reduced to just two spots for events with 132 players.
